Storyfox alternative: training videos produced for you
Storyfox or a motion design studio for your training and internal communication videos: two approaches, what each does well, and how to choose.
Storyfox combines automated editing software, guided filming and video avatars with support, so your teams produce their videos in-house. RayMotion is a motion design studio that writes, draws and animates your training and internal communication videos, at a published fixed price.
Storyfox data checked on September 29, 2026 on its public pages; it may have changed since.
Two ways to produce videos in a company
Storyfox presents itself as more than software: an automated editing and guided filming platform, with video avatars and integrations with learning platforms, backed by its team. The idea: let your employees produce short videos themselves, often filmed, in large numbers.
A motion design studio does the opposite: it produces animated videos for you, written and drawn to measure. No shoot, no avatar: diagrams, interfaces and figures brought to life, carried by a voice-over.
When Storyfox is the right choice
- You want to produce many videos in-house, regularly, with your own teams.
- Your content goes through filmed people: experts, managers, employee testimonials.
- You are looking for a platform, with integrations into your tools and ongoing support.
When a motion design studio is the right choice
- The topic cannot be filmed: a process, a product, a regulation, an organisation, figures. Motion design shows them.
- The message must be built and approved: an e-learning module goes through your subject-matter experts, sometimes compliance, before any image.
- You want to know the price before starting, without a demo first: our prices are published.
- The content must last: animation in your brand guidelines ages better than filmed video, and updates without a new shoot.
Both together
The two approaches complement each other: videos filmed in-house for the voice of experts and employees, and motion design modules to explain what cannot be filmed. Our article on motion design e-learning video details how to build those modules, and the one on e-learning module costs compares the approaches.
What each approach costs
Storyfox does not show prices on its site: access goes through a demo. With us, each format has a published fixed price: €3,250 excl. VAT for an e-learning module delivered in 35 days, €1,750 excl. VAT for an internal video delivered in 21 days. The detail is on our pricing page.
